About the destination: Ha'il (Arabic: حائل‎‎ Ḥā'il), also spelled Hail, Ha'yel, or Hayil, is a city in northwestern Saudi Arabia and the capital of Ha'il Province, with a population of about 412,758. The region is largely agricultural, producing significant amounts of grain, dates, and fruit, and a large share of Saudi Arabia’s wheat comes from irrigated farms northeast of the city. Historically, Ha'il prospered as a key stop on the Hajj camel caravan route. It is renowned across Saudi Arabia and the Arab world for the generosity of its people, famously associated with Hatim al-Tai, and it is the homeland of the Al Rashid family, historical rivals of the Al Sauds.
