1. Jeddah
Stay
About the city: Jeddah is on the Red Sea in western Saudi Arabia. It is the second largest city, and a major commercial center in the country. Jeddah is the principal gateway to Mecca, Islam's holiest city, which able-bodied Muslims are required to visit at least once in their lifetime. It is also a gateway to Medina, the second holiest place in Islam. The city that never sleeps won’t allow you to sleep from all the variety it offers. To discover Jeddah you will have to sail its raging coasts, visit the luxurious Corniche, devour popular seafood delicacies, enjoy majestic palaces, and historical and archeological landmarks. The Khuzam Palaca is a landmark that reflects the beauty of modern architecture. It was named Khuzam after all the lavender (Khuzama in Arabic) surrounding it. The construction of the palace began in 1928, and was completed in 1932. It is the first building to be constructed using cement and iron in Jeddah. King Abdulaziz ordered its construction during his stay at the Nassif House for a period of time. Khuzam Palace today is one the most important museums in Saudi Arabia. The Tahaliyah Street is one of the most prestigious and vital main streets in the city of Jeddah. It is a commercial hub of shopping centers given the many brand name shopping centers lining its sides, as well as the finest restaurants, multiple shopping centers and lavish offices, not to mention its beauty and strategic location, divided into two sections.

2. AlUla
Stay
About the city:

There are few places in the world where you can still feel like a true explorer charting the unknown. In many historic destinations, the illusion of discovery is promptly shattered by a jungle of selfie sticks. But in AlUla, which is home to Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, deep in the desert in the northwestern region of the country, you might still be able to play out your fantasy of being an intrepid archaeologist for a day. Despite all the makings of a bucket list-topping global destination — ancient tombs that remain as the legacy of 7,000 years of human civilization, stunning natural rock formations and canyons, a plethora of adventure sports options and cutting-edge art installations — AlUla remains largely off the global tourism radar, giving you plenty of space and time for reflection with the monumentality of its beautiful desert landscapes.

Stay
About the city:

Al-Hofuf is the urban center of the Al-Ahsa region located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It hosts some of the most important typical features of the Eastern Province with the largest oasis in the world, the Jebel Al-Qarah and historical landmarks. It is also known for being one of the largest date producers in the world, and for its old souks and palaces.Possibly, the most outstanding feature of this city is its location within the Al Ahsa Oasis. With more than 2.5 million date palm trees blanketing a verdant expanse just inland from Saudi Arabia’s Gulf coast, Al Ahsa is the archetype of a lush desert oasis. And the UNESCO World Heritage-recognized region recently added a new feather to its cap: in October, Guinness World Records declared Al Ahsa the largest self-contained oasis in the world. What that means for travelers is that there’s plenty to choose from. From hot and cold springs to historic mosques to sweeping panoramic vistas, you’ll find a lot to explore in this 6,000-year-old oasis, which has long been a gateway to the Arabian Peninsula for travelers from the East. Don’t miss a chance to sample a khalasah date before you leave —locals proudly proclaim it’s one of the world’s best.
